Concept & Schematic Design
The first phase is about building a complete picture before a single line is drawn. The studio establishes a client profile, sets key timelines, conducts site surveys and as-built drawings where required, and reviews zoning. A mood board and precedent direction are developed based on research into the client's lifestyle, values, and aesthetic sensibility. From that foundation, initial concept drawings and schematic designs are developed and presented. This phase ends with an approved concept and preliminary drawings — the agreed direction that everything that follows is built on.
